Tbilisi 1st International Summit of Craft & Design is the first international gathering of crafts makers, designers, entrepreneurs, retailers and experts in the South Caucasus region. The Summit will be held on September 23-25, 2016. The summit offers unique opportunity to the local and international makers to present market oriented national products to the experts, buyers and wide audience, to establish new business contacts and to promote Georgian and South Caucasus crafts to the global markets.

Participants
Craft makers, designers, entrepreneurs, retailers, wholesalers from South Caucasus Region and beyond!
All products presented on the expo fall in the category of handmade or hand finished.

What to expect?
The Summit is the first international marketplace for handmade goods in the south Caucasus region. Visitors will have opportubnity to get familiar with both local and international crafts traditions and innovative designs.

Business representatives are highly welcome to present their requirements and build up further contacts with producers from South Caucasus Countries and beyond. Wholesalers will be offered free attendance on all Summit events.

The summit will offer a vibrant networking atmosphere by bringing together more than 100 local and international crafts makers, designers, and entrepreneurs from the region and beyond to exhibit their works and meet crafts experts and buyers.

All visiotrs will have opportunity to participate in different eventes scheduled withing the frames of Summit. For the detailes see Programme.

Organizers
The Summit is organized by the Georgian Arts and Culture Center in frames of EU Investing in People program’s GACC ongoing project “Crafts Platform in Action Enhancing Sector's Economic Capacity for Georgia”  in cooperation with: Georgia's Presidential Researve fund, Ministry of Culture and Monuments Protection of Georgia, Tbilisi City Hall, Entrepreneurship Development Agency (Enterprise Georgia), Georgian National Tourism Administration, Georgian Heritage Crafts Association, Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia, British Council, US Ambassy in Georgia, South Caucasus Contemporary Dance and Experimental Art Festival in Tbilisi, Swiss Cooperation Office
