About the Programme:

GACC plays a vital role in fostering the development of creative industries in Georgia. The programme aims to advocate for the significance of culture as a driving force for economic advancement and its integration into the national agenda; to enhance the economic resilience of creative practitioners by cultivating entrepreneurial skills, fostering workforce development, and promoting cross-sectoral collaboration.

The program operates across various cultural and creative domains and seeks development of closer cooperation of heritage fields with different CI sectors. On of the primary focuses of the programme lies in experiential and creative tourism as well as craft business development. It endeavors to bridge the heritage and tourism sectors and works collaboratively with tourism and creative stakeholders to develop experiential and creative tourism offerings. In 2020, as part of EU Black Sea Joint Operational Programme-funded initiatives, GACC established the Tbilisi Experiential Tourism Hub (ProExoTour), in 2022, it launched the online portal TourNDo.com.
Another importatnt direction of the programme is development of the entrepreneorieal approaches and development of new business models in different cultural field and in particular crafts sector.
