The project aims to revitalize Georgia's traditional crafts sector, transforming it into a source of employment and economic growth. By doing so, the project will contribute to the preservation of craft traditions and the economic development of regional communities.
The project's primary components focus on: Strengthening Institutional Foundations: Creating professional associations, networks, and structures to support the traditional crafts sector. Developing the Local Market: Improving working conditions and business skills of craft producers to enhance their market presence. Advocacy and Policy Development: Advocating for policies that support the development of traditional crafts and integrating them into government strategies. Education and Knowledge Transfer: Promoting educational initiatives and knowledge transfer to ensure the continuity of traditional crafts.
